RELEX Recognized as a Leader in the 2025 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SCP

"These solutions enable and streamline planning decision making by providing access to planning data, application of logic, such as business rules, and priorities and process governance capabilities,” the report states.
Gartner noted that RELEX demonstrates a high ability to execute and a comprehensive vision, positioning it as a stable market leader with a strong presence, innovation, and consistent performance. This recognition reflects RELEX’s strength in delivering responsive supply chain planning capabilities to companies worldwide.
As RELEX’s official partner, TeamIdea Group successfully implemented one of the first RELEX projects in Russia for major retailer Magnit, focused on RELEX FR (Forecasting and Replenishment), a solution for optimizing demand forecasting and inventory replenishment. The cloud-based AI-powered forecasting and replenishment (F&R) system from Relex Solutions covered all store formats, product categories, and 38 distribution centers, ultimately serving 22,000 stores and became one of the largest logistics projects in Russia and globally.
Founded in Finland, RELEX has grown into a global company with over 1,800 employees in 21 countries. In 2024, it achieved over 30% year-over-year growth in subscription and annual recurring revenue (ARR), marking its 70th consecutive quarter of ARR growth. In last year's Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ report, RELEX was named a Challenger, indicating its evolution from a solid provider to one that also shapes the industry's future—combining execution excellence with forward-looking innovation.
Its unified Supply Chain and Retail Planning Platform supports a wide range of functions—from Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) to demand/supply planning.
What Makes RELEX a Leader? “RELEX’s Supply Chain & Retail Planning Platform supports a wide range of planning functions, including Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), demand and supply planning, manufacturing scheduling, and retail-specific processes such as promotion optimization. With a strong presence in Europe and growing traction in North America, RELEX serves businesses of all sizes, particularly in the retail sector,” Gartner’s analysts wrote.
Gartner aslo highlighted several strengths of RELEX, including its strong product strategy, ability to model various constraints, high client retention, and excellent technical support. At the same time, RELEX faces challenges such as enhancing risk modeling, improving pricing transparency, and expanding its global footprint to match top competitors. However, Gartner believes these challenges will be overcomed, as RELEX’s continued investment in automation and algorithmic intelligence aligns with market needs—making it a trusted partner for organizations seeking to advance their planning maturity.
The Gartner Magic Quadrant is a yearly market research report that assesses technology providers within a certain market on two criterion: completeness of vision and the ability to execute. Vendors are evaluated on two axes: ability to execute and completeness of vision, placing them in one of four categories: Leaders, Challengers, Visionaries, and Niche Players.
For the Magic Quadrant for Supply Chain Planning (SCP) Solutions for 2025, Gartner evaluated 22 vendors with capabilities to enable and deliver optimization across the end-to-end supply chain planning process, from planning to response and from strategic planning through tactical planning and onto effective execution.
These solutions were rated on required functions such as demand forecasting, supply and inventory planning, and financial planning, and on advanced features such as AI-based analytics, digital supply chain twins, and multi-enterprise collaboration tools.
