The project's main goal was to support the company's growing business and establish a reliable digital foundation for further business growth. In 5 months Sberlogistics planned to open 5 more product warehouses. Overall, In 2 years Sberlogistics planned to expand to 150 warehouses covering an area of 1.6 million sq m.

The SAP EWM would allow Sberlogistics  to streamline all warehouse operations within a single system, handling over 10.000.000 of SKUs per day. The management team aimed to increase transparency and efficiency in logistics processes, reduce operating expenses (OPEX), and maintain a service level of at least 99%.

Testimonials

“From the beginning of the project, we knew we wanted to create a modern, efficient solution capable of quickly adapting to changing business needs and supporting plans for its further development. Expanding warehouse infrastructure is part of our strategy to provide logistics services from the first to the last mile to both private and corporate clients across the country. It is crucial for us that the system  can scale without halting key processes and integrate with other IT systems.”
Sergey Malyshev, CEO of SberLogistics.

“An industrial warehouse management system is the 'heart' of the logistics business; it determines how efficiently processes will function and how quickly the company can expand its business. SAP EWM has absorbed the experience of millions of warehouses worldwide. The processes within this system allow for maximum efficiency in warehouse operations. We hope that both SAP EWM and one of the best solutions for transportation logistics management, SAP TM, will enable SberLogistics to achieve its business growth goals while adhering to the declared unified service quality standards across the country and abroad”.
Andrey Goryainov, deputy CEO of SAP CIS.
